Brazil reports 14, 817 deaths, 218, 223 infection cases

KATHMANDU: Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 14, 817 after 824 died in the last 24 hours.

With 15, 305 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 218, 223 as of Saturday morning.

Currently, 118, 436 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 84, 970 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 308,131 and infecting 4,621,082  people as of Saturday morning.
