KATHMANDU: Google, an American multinational technology company, is creating an app that will tell you whether you are suffering from coronavirus.

If the app works as planned, people can conduct screening and testing of people at high risk of contracting COVID-19 at home itself, the internet giant claims.

Talking to media persons at the Rose Garden of White House on Friday, American President Donald Trump said the Google is currently working on an app to test the coronavirus where 1,700 IT engineers are working.

This app, which is at the preliminary stage, is being developed by Verily, the sister organization of the Google.

According to the plan, it will first be launched on San Francisco Bay Area on Monday.
