Three injured as bus hits truck in Chitwan

CHITWAN: Three passengers were injured when a bus hit a truck at Piple of Rapti Municipality along the East West Highway.

According to police, the mishap happened when a bus, Lu 1 Kha 6108, heading to Butwal from Janakpur hit a truck, Na 6 Kha 3434, heading to opposite direction on Saturday night.

The identification of the injured is yet to be ascertained and they are being treated at Old Medical College.

Police said they have arrested both the drivers and impounded the vehicles.
