16 wedding attendants injured in Sindhuli jeep mishap



SINDHULI: 16 persons were injured when a jeep carrying wedding attendants met with an accident at Hariharpurgadhi Rural Municipality of the district on Thursday.

The jeep, Ja 1 Cha 1860, heading to Hariharpurgadhi from Marin Rural Municipality met with an accident at around 4:45 pm this evening, police said.

According to the District Police Office, Sindhuli 12 persons have received minor injuries. Four critically injured in the mishap have been sent to Sindhuli District Hospital for further treatment.

The driver is on the run after the accident, police said, adding they are further investigating.
