KATHMANDU: The government has approved a recent treaty signed with China on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters.

“A meeting of Cabinet approved the treaty between Nepal and China on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and decided to inform Parliament,” Minister for Communications and Information Technology said during a press briefing on Thursday.

The treaty was signed during a visit by Chinese President Xi Jinping to Nepal.
