KATHMANDU: Government Spokesperson Gokul Baskota has termed the ‘capturing’ of land in Baluwatar by the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav outfit as an act of terrorism.

Speaking at a press conference organized to make public Cabinet decision on Thursday, Minister for Communications and Information Technology Baskota said the land can’t be captured by a mere act of hoisting of a flag.

“The land belongs to Nepalis and Nepal government. It can’t be captured by hoisting a flag. Biplav outfit hoisted the flag for publicity. It is an act of terrorism,” he said.

The outlawed outfit had announced ‘capturing’ the Lalita Niwas land in Baluwatar near the residence of Chief Justice by hoisting a flag and planting a bomb.
