Traffic resumes on Narayangadh-Muglin road



MUGLIN: Traffic, which was obstructed due to mudslide along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, has resumed after clearing the landslide debris on the road.

A landslide had occurred at Charkilo and Paanchkilo of the road section Wednesday morning.

One-way traffic has been resumed at four locations on the road section while the debris has been cleared at other places.

Chief of the District Traffic Police Office, Daya Krishna Bhatta said the road section was obstructed due to the mudslide occurred at 5.45 am today.

The traffic has resumed since this afternoon.

According to him, the road section has been opened one-way at Satrakilo, Simaltaal, Rigdikhola and Bhaludhunga.

Chief of Division Road Office Bharatpur, Krishna Raj Adhikari said works are on to open two-way traffic at the places where one-way traffic has been resumed.

Landslide had occurred at multiple places on the road section on Monday night.
