BIRATNAGAR: Province 1 has reported 103 more cases of coronavirus pandemic on Sunday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, Province 1 saw 103 cases of coronavirus, including 69 males and 34 females.
The Ministry informed that Morang saw 92 cases proving itself a hot-spot in the province, Khotang, Sunsari and Ilam reported six, two and one 19 cases respectively.
Two reports are said to be from outside Province 1.
According to the Ministry for Local Development of Province 1, Biratnagar Metropolitan City alone has reported 86 new cases in the last 24 hours out of which 54 are males and 32 females.
Similarly, Budhi Ganga, Dhanpal Than and Katahari Rural Municipality have reported three, two and one coronavirus cases respectively.
Likewise, 6 males of Rupakot Majhuwagadhi- Khotang, 1 male each of Itahari and Ilam Deumai Municipalities and one female of Duhabi Municipality have also tested coronavirus positive on Sunday.
Among the 2 cases from outside Province 1, there are one male of Bara and one female from Siraha districts.
With this the number of coronavirus cases in Province 1 has reached 2010.
