Butwal reports 16 new coronavirus cases on Sunday



BUTWAL: Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City has reported as many as 16 new cases of coronavirus on Sunday.

According to Kundan Singh, the Chief of Head Division at Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City, 13 of the new cases are from the community whereas 3 are the staffers of the Sub-Metropolitan City.

Out of 3 staffers, two work as chiefs of different divisions in the metropolis.

Most of the newly identified cases belong to Kalikanagar area of Butwal.

With this the number of active cases of coronavirus in Butwal has risen to 56.
