UDAYPUR: An indefinite lockdown has been enforced in Katari Municipality of Udaypur from 1 pm today after coronavirus infection was detected at the community level.

A meeting of the Municipality this morning decided to enforce an indefinite lockdown in the municipality considering the spike in the coronavirus cases.

Mayor Gyanendra Shrestha said shops selling essentials as foodstuff, water, LPG and medicines would be allowed to open.

Other businesses and activities have been prohibited from today, he said.
