Four including fake Nepal Army Colonel held



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four individuals on the charge of cheating people impersonating themselves as Nepal Army officials.

District Police Office, Kavre took them under control from Panchkhal municipality-4.

According to DSP  Kumar Bikram Thapa, the information officer of District Police Office, Kavre, the arrested are Kebal Rai Sunuwar, 31, Ram Bahadur Tamang, 24, Bhim Mahaju, 37 of Panchkhal municipality-4, and 48-year-old Amar Adhikari of Bhanu municipality-12, Tanahu.

Mahaju had been impersonating himself as the colonel of Nepal Army.

The group had taken Rs 250,000 and a scooter from hotelier Chandra Kumar Lama of Dhulikhel municipality-8 by assuring him that they would provide him grocery gods (rice, sugar, oil, beer, salt for chief prices) kept in the storage of Nepali Army.
