Nepali woman missing in London found dead



LONDON: A woman who had gone missing in London since Sunday was found dead in the shrubs of Plumstead Common the south-east of London.

According to the police, Dhan Maya Thapa who did not return from the morning walk she was on Sunday, was found dead in a shrubs in the shrubs of Plumstead Common on Monday evening.

Gorkha Army Ex-serviceman’s Organization (GAESO)’s Treasurer Devi Maya Pun informed the media that the police has not allowed anyone to go at the incident site.

The cause of her death is still unknown.

Dhan Maya Magar 65, who hailed from Syngja had been living with her husband, son and daughter in law since last 9 years. She had been to Nepal in her holidays and gone back to UK in March.

After finding the dead body of Dhan Maya, the police had gone to inform her family members at 10 PM, Monday evening. The local police had sought help of Metropolitan Police’s that sent the ‘Search and Rescue Unit’ for the search.
