PM Oli visits TUTH for stent removal



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has reached the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) on Sunday.

According to Press Advisor to PM Oli, Surya Thapa, the prime minister reached the hospital for a follow-up check.

PM Oli is also scheduled to remove a stent placed in his stomach, Thapa told Khabarhub. The prime minister had undergone surgery in October where a stent was placed to relieve any obstruction.

He is taking rest at his official residence in Baluwatar following a kidney transplant.

PM Oli, who was admitted to TUTH on March 2 for a kidney re-transplantation, was discharged from the hospital on Friday evening.
