Bomb goes off at Sanubharyang

KATHMANDU: A bomb went off at Sanu Bharyang in Kathmandu on Wednesday evening targeting the house of Shova Kanta Dhakal, who was involved in the Baluwatar Lalita Niwas land scam.

The blast that went off this evening just inside the gate of the house has caused damages to the window panes and a parked vehicle, spokesperson of Kathmandu Police Hobendra Bogati said.

No human casualties have been reported.

The outlawed Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led faction has claimed responsibility of the incident.
