Nepal Police announces vacancies for 149 Inspectors, 584 ASIs

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police has announced new vacancies for 149 Inspectors and 584 Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASI) on Wednesday.

Eighty vacancies have been announced under open category, 3 under martyr’s family category, 13 under women category, 21 under janajati, 18 under Madhesi category, 10 Dalit and 4 under backward region category among those positions announced for Inspectors.

As for the category of Assistant Sub Inspectors, 315 vacancies have been announced under open category, 12 for martyrs police families, 51 under women category, 72 under Madhesi category, 82 janajti category, 39 under Dalit category and 13 have been allocated for backward regions.

According to the advertisement, candidates have to apply for the posts from January 19 until February 23.

Applications forms can be submitted from Metropolitan Police Office, Ranipokhari inside the Kathmandu Valley.

Similarly, from outside the valley, applications can be submitted at State 1 Police Office, Biratngar, State 2 Police Office, Janakpur, State 3 Police Office, Hetauda, Gandaki Police Office, Pokhara, State 5 Police Office, Dang, Karnali Province Office, Surkhet and Far-west Province Police Office, Dipayal, Nepal Police said.
