Gold dearer by Rs 700 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has continued to increase with Rs 700 per tola on Wednesday.

With the price hike, the yellow precious metal is being sold for Rs 74,700 today, according to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA).

It was traded for Rs 74,000 yesterday. Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded for Rs 74,400 per tola.

According to FENEGOSIDA, silver is being traded for Rs 885 per tola today. The price of bullion has gone up with its price hike in the international market.

The gold price has climbed to US $1,553 per ounce in the international market today. It was traded for US $1,532 per ounce on Tuesday.
