America’s COVID-19 cases cross 16.9 million

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 16,935,726 in the United States of America after 191,551 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 6,774,681 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 9,853,026 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 308,019 with 1,534 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in last December, the coronavirus has killed 1,627,264 and infected 73,172,621 globally until the filing of this news.
