500 landownership certificates distributed in Butwal



KATHMANDU: The Butwal Sub-metropolitan City has issued around 500 landownership certificates to the landless squatters at its various wards.

The landless people at the Sub-metropolis’ ward no 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 were provided with the certificates.

The certificates were provided to 48 landless families at ward number 15, sixty-three families at ward number 16, ninety families at ward number 17 and 147 families at ward number 18.

Similarly, preparations are being made to issue the land-ownership certificates to 60 families at ward number 14 and 90 families at ward number 18.

Mayor Shivaraj Subedi handed over the landownership certificates to 22 families at Pokharabari of Motipur at Butwal-18. Land-ownership certificates have been provided to 156 families in the area before this.

On the occasion, Mayor Subedi said that the sub-metropolis is preparing plan to develop Motipur and Semler area as the model settlements. RSS
