KATHMANDU: Lekhnath Koirala has been appointed Acting Managing Director (MD) of the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).
Koirala has been picked to the post based on seniority after MD Kulman Ghising’s four-year term ended.
Koirala was appointed to the post by Energy Minister Barshaman Pun on Tuesday, a highly-placed source said.
He was previously Deputy MD (12th Level) at the national power authority.
