Province 1 sees 86 coronavirus cases on Saturday

BIRTATNAGAR: Keeping itself among the coronavirus pandemic high-risk zone, Province 1 saw 86 new cases of coronavirus on Saturday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of 86 COVID-19 new cases today, Morang district alone got 64 cases.

It stated that Sunsari saw 19 whereas Tehrathum, Okhaldhunga and Udayapur each got one case of coronavirus.

A total of 30 females and 34 males of Morang tested coronavirus positive.

Similarly, Sunsari district got the coronavirus positive report among two females and 17 males whereas one male each from Tehrathum, Udayapur and Okhaldhunga also tested coronavirus positive on Saturday.

With this the number of coronavirus cases in the province has reached 1,907 in the province.

According to the Ministry for Social Development of Province 1, the Province has got 64,599 PCR tested by Saturday.

Province 1 has seen nine COVID-19 deaths till date.
