Four of Kalimati vegetable market test positive for COVID-19 in RDT



KATHMANDU: Samples of four persons have tested positive in a Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) carried out at Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market on Thursday.

Out of 700 tested in RDT, four have been tested positive for COVID-19, Narendra Bilash Bajracharya, Chief at Public Health Division under Kathmandu Metropolitan City told to Khabarhub.

Similarly, 334 people have been tested through the PCR method.

Kalimati Fruits and Vegetable Market in collaboration with Epidemiology & Disease Control Division had conducted the test for 550 vegetables fruits and vegetable sellers, fruits and vegetable delivery van’s drivers and their assistants, porter, workers, cleaning staff, security guards and other staff working inside the market.
