Country to witness rainfall with thunderstorm



KATHMANDU: Weather today will remain partial to general cloudy owing to the impact of westerly and local wind, according to Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Meteorologist Samir Shrestha said that several parts of the country is likely to witness rainfall with thunderstorm and wind late afternoon and evening today.

Shrestha hinted at the possibility of rain with thunderstorm and wind at the mid-hilly areas of the country.

The impact of westerly wind will last till Tuesday night.

Likewise, hilly region of the western region and eastern region have witnessed partial to general cloudy while the weather of the remaining parts remained partial cloudy.

Rain with thunderstorm and wind has been predicted in some parts of the central and western hilly areas and in some places of the eastern region, the Division said.
