Police, locals clash in Siraha; 13 arrested



SIRAHA: Police fired 23 rounds in the air to control a clash that erupted with locals violating lockdown on Monday night.

The law enforcement agency said it resorted to firing in the air after the mob hurled stones at security personnel.

Police have arrested 13 persons and two cops have been injured in the clash.

According to DSP Binod Ghimire, they are further investigating the case.
