KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a graft case against eight persons for embezzling over Rs 40 million of Agricultural Development Bank Limited (ADBL), New Road Branch.

The CIAA filed the case against assistant teller Deepika Regmi, the then Branch Manager Premhari Dhungel, Chief of Loan Division Gopal Giri, the then loan officer (retired) Salil Regmi.

Likewise, Chief of Loan Division Maheshwor Marahatta, Taranath Pandey, and retired Brigadier General of Nepal Army (NA) Rameshraj Bista and proprietor of Durga Jewelry Prakash Ghatani were dragged to court.
