KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two people with Rs 999, 000 in cash from Nagdhunga of Chandragiri municipality in the capital.

The arrested are Krishna Yadav, 21 of Hiparmai rural municipality-8, Parsa and Raju Paudel, 38, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-16, Chitwan.

Police arrested them with the cash during a security check at Nagdhunga while they were heading to Nuwakot from Kathmandu in a taxi with the registration No. Ba 2 Ja 4802.

According to police the source of the cash seized is not identified.
