Foreign currency exchange rates fixed for today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar stands at Rs 144.92, while the selling rate is Rs 145.52.

The buying rate of the European euro is Rs 171.93 and the selling rate Rs 172.64. Likewise, the UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 197.31 and sold at Rs 198.13, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 187.79 and a selling rate of Rs 188.57.

Similarly, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 101.80, while the selling rate is Rs 102.22. The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.26 and the selling rate Rs 9.29. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.93 and sold at Rs 21.02. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 38.64, with a selling rate of Rs 38.80, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 39.65 and sold at Rs 39.81.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.64 and the selling rate Rs 4.66. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.45 and sold at Rs 39.62. Likewise, the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 36.83 and a selling rate of Rs 36.99.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.54, while the selling rate is Rs 18.62. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 474.37 and sold at Rs 476.33, while the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 384.40 and a selling rate of Rs 385.99. The Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 376.44 and sold at Rs 378.00.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary. The updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
