94.9% COVID-19 infected recover in Nepal

KATHMANDU:  As many as 94.9 percent people out of those infected with COVID-19 have recovered so far in Nepal.

According to the Ministry of Health and  Population, 1,500 people recovered from the coronaviurs infection in the last 24 hours.

With this, the number of people recovering from the virus has reached 2,35,731 (94.9%) in the country.

Similarly, the country recorded a total of 830 new coronavirus cases, taking the caseload to 2,48,423 in the country as of Sunday.

The laboratories across the country conducted 5,181 PCR tests in the last 24 hours.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 10,994 reported active cases of the virus.

Meanwhile, nine persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths 1,698.
