NBA demands to make separate standard for appointment, transfer, dismissal



KATHMANDU: The national assembly of the Nepal Bar Association has demanded to make a separate standard for the appointment, transfer and dismissal of judges from service.

The Bar organized national assembly from September 10 to 13 via virtual technology. About 1000 law practitioners including Bar’s office bearers participated in the assembly.

The assembly further has demanded to make the judiciary transparent.  It has further urged not to recommend the Nepal Judicial Council member to justices after retirement from the service.
