48 including MP of Federal Parliament test COVID-19 positive in Dhanusha



JANAKPURDHAM: A total of 48 people including an MP in the Federal Parliament have tested coronavirus positive in Dhanusha.

According to the sources at District Health Office in Dhanusha, 48 persons including Janata Samajbadi Party’s lawmaker Dr. Surya Narayan Yadav have tested coronavirus positive.

Lawmaker Dr. Yadav, formerly a pediatrician, tested positive in a test carried out in Provincial Public Health Laboratory, Janakpur on Friday.

Similarly, four more including a doctor working in the Janakpurdham-based Janaki Health Care Hospital have tested positive in the PCR test executed in the laboratory.

Three more staffs of Muktinath Bikash Bank in Janakpurdham have also come up with coronavirus positive results on Friday. Earlier, a few more staff of Muktinath Bikash Bank had also tested coronavirus positive.

Likewise, 22 in Janakpurdham Sub-Metropolitan City, 6 in Mithila Municipality, 3 in Laxminiya Rural Municipality and one each in Bateshwor, Hanspur, Mukhiyapatti Musaharniya, Jamunibas and Dhanauji have also got coronavirus positive result on Friday.
