KATHMANDU: Police have arrested Nanda Bahadur Bohara, Chief of the Eastern Command Military Department of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit.
The law enforcement agency nabbed Bohara, 40, from Urlabari Municipality-3 of Morang.
DSP Man Bahadur Rai at the District Police Office, Morang confirmed the arrest, adding that some weapons and explosives were also recovered from his possession.
He said that a homemade pistol, three rounds of live bullets and a socket bomb along with explosives used in making bombs were also recovered from Bohara’s possession.
