Banke’s Industry Officer held with bribe



NEPALGUNJ: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Nepalgunj has arrested an officer of  Cottage and Small Industry Office Banke with bribe money on Tuesday.

According to CIAA Nepalgunj sources, Hukum Bahadur Oli, an officer at the Cottage and Small Industry Office Banke was arrested with the bribe money he had taken from the customers on Tuesday.

“Oli was found accepting Rs 96,000 as bribe to facilitate the licensing process held mandatory to be completed within the running fiscal year,” Ganesh Gaire, Nepalgunj chief of CIAA said.

CIAA has alerted its network and mobilized in different places as the bribe instances go common towards the end of each financial year.
