KATHMANDU: An all-party meeting called by Prime Minister KP Oli is underway at the PM’s official residence, Baluwatar.

The all-party meeting, sources said, is likely to discuss the nationwide lockdown, construction and inauguration of a link road by India in Lipu Lekh, among others issues.

Top leaders of the political parties represented the parliament have participated the meeting.

To recall, PM Oli had earlier convened an all-party meeting in November 2019 when India issued a new political map that included Limiyadhura, Kalapani, and Lipu Lekh.

It should be noted that the construction and inauguration of the road via Lipu Lekh has been criticized both Nepal’s ruling and opposition parties.

Likewise, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also expressed concern over the construction of the road.
