27-year-old held on fraud charges

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man on the charge of deceiving a woman by promising her a government employment.

The arrested has been identified as 27-year-old Tularam Koli of Doti, currently staying at Godawari Municipality-2, Kailali, said Police Inspector Prakash Singh Karki.

According to Karki, Koli, impersonating himself as a UNDP personnel, fleeced Ratna Bohara of Gauriganga-7 of Rs 170,000 by promising her a job in Dhangadhi-based Food Corporation office.
