Gold price rises marginally



KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the domestic market recorded a slight increase on Tuesday, a day after witnessing a sharp rise.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 900 per tola on Tuesday, reaching Rs 305,500 per tola.

On Monday, gold had surged by Rs 4,100 per tola to trade at Rs 304,600. The price on Sunday stood at Rs 300,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices declined slightly on Tuesday. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,250 per tola on Monday, is being traded at Rs 5,240 per tola today.

The federation said silver prices fell by Rs 10 per tola compared to the previous day.
