KATHMANDU: The GP Koirala Foundation has participated in a program organized by the Tibetan diaspora community in New York, USA to commemorate the 31st anniversary of the year the Dalai Lama received the Nobel Peace Prize.

Ghimire has thanked Lwang Ngodup, the head of the Tibetan community, and Tenzing Cheyang, the manager, for inviting them to participate in the event.

The GP Koirala Foundation — considered close to China – had also lobbied to not mention China’s name in the report prepared by Nepali Congress (NC) party concerning the border encroachment by China in the Humla district.
