Govt to introduce policy to give continuity to industry, business



KATHMANDU: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Parbat Gurung, has said that the government is introducing a program to give continuity to industry and business.

He said that the government has approved the policy and working procedure in order to provide loan on subsidized rate to industries and business.

Addressing a program, he stated that the cabinet has endorsed the policy and working procedure to provide loan on appropriate rate to give continuity to all types of industries and business.

It is believed that it would help run the industries and business hit hard by Covid-19, he said.

He also said that the role and responsibility of all was equal to protect and promote investment, saying the government was serious to protect and promote investment.

He assured that the state would always involve in protection and facilitating the entrepreneurs as well as to untie the knot of obstruction, stressing that state, civil society, industrialists, among others should face this economic crisis and difficulties.

The Communications Minister directed the Board to make necessary improvement by reviewing the films.

Drawing the attention of the Board towards films great contribution for transformation of society, he expressed view that the role of cine artists would be crucial in development of civilized society.

Referring to the mindset of parents deeming films as a waste of time for their children, the Communications Minister asked artists to invoke a feeling that children can learn something good from films.
