Issuance, renewal of press pass postponed



KATHMANDU: The Department of Information and Broadcasting has postponed the issuance and renewal of press representative certificate.

It has been postponed till the next notice in the wake of increased spread of coronavirus.

As this activity needs physical presence of persons in office and not possible via electronic medium for now, the service has been postponed, the press release issued by the Department said.

However, the working journalists can submit complaints before the press registrar, it added.
