Nine new coronavirus cases in Kathmandu Valley



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley has added nine fresh COVID-19 cases to its tally in the past 24 hours.

Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, said in a regular press briefing on Monday that nine people have been confirmed infected in the Kathmandu Valley. Of them, three are from Kathmandu, one from Bhaktapur and five from Lalitpur.

Nepal reported 144 cases in the past 24 hours that took the national tally to 16,945.
