Coronavirus death toll crosses 72,000 in Brazil

KATHMANDU: The death toll in Brazil has crossed 72, 000 from Coronavirus in the last six months.

According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 72, 151 after 659 new deaths were reported.

With 25,364 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 1,866,176 as of Monday morning.

Currently, 580,513 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8,318 are critical. Meanwhile, 1,213,512 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China on December 31, 2019, the coronavirus has spread to 213 countries including two international conveyances, infecting 13,039,853 and killing 571,659 people globally.
