Massive quantity of explosives seized in Capital



KATHMANDU: Nepal Police have seized a large number of explosives from NCP outfit’s Lalitpur District Committee Member Sanuraja Bajracharya’s Nepaltar based quarter on Saturday.

According to the police, Bajracharya is found to have rented room at Tarakeshwor 11, Nepaltar based house of Sanu Khatri KC to store weapons and explosives.

Bajracharya had been living in Sano Bharyang area in Syowambhu, using KC’s room for storing the explosives.

The police had arrested him yesterday from Tapahiti opposite to Patan Campus at 11.30 am. Using his own clues the police reached his rented room used for the storage of weapons and explosives.

Despite being on the hunted list, he used to be in contact with his friends through three Facebook accounts.
