SINDHUPALCHOWK: Around 88 percent people, rendered homeless by the devastating 2015 Earthquake, in Sindhupalchowk have shifted to their newly constructed homes.
Sindhupalchowk was the most-affected by the quake.
According to the District Project Unit Grants Management and Local Infrastructure chief Bharat Acharya, as many as 76,980 families have shifted to their new homes.
Till mid-April, a total of 90,579 families were eligible beneficiaries for receiving the house construction grants and of them 76,980 have already received the third installment, project implementation unit chief Santosh Niraula said.
Sixteen families have returned the grant money of Rs 50,000 they had received in the first installment for not building homes.
