Death toll from Coronavirus in Brazil reaches 11,519



KATHMANDU: Brazil has witnessed a surge in the deaths of people from Coronavirus of late. According to Worldometer, the death toll has reached 11,519 after 396 died in the last 24 hours.

With 5, 632 new cases, the number of infection cases has surged to 168, 331 as of Tuesday morning.

Currently, 89, 425 people are undergoing treatment at various hospitals in the country, of which 8, 318 are critical. Meanwhile, 67, 384 have recovered after treatment.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China last December, the deadly virus has spread to 212 countries including two international conveyances across the world, killing 286,986 and infecting 4,250, pe62ople as of Tuesday morning.
