Throat swabs of 461 returnees collected in Darchula



DARCHULA: ‘Throat swab’ of over 400 people who returned from different cities of India to Darchula district has been collected.

Samples of swabs from a total of 461 people kept in quarantines and home quarantines have been collected from six places in the district.

It is stated that swab samples were collected from 438 men, 20 women and three children. ‘Throat swab’ has been collected from different places this morning by mobilizing helicopters of Nepal Army and Kailash Air. A team of health workers took the throat swabs collected from Darchula to Kathmandu for lab test.

Chief District Officer Yadunath Poudel shared that swab samples were collected from the people returning from different countries including India in nine local levels of Darchula.
