Gold prices fall again in Nepal, silver also declines



KATHMANDU: Gold prices in the Nepali market have fallen for the second consecutive day. On Thursday, the price of gold dropped by Rs 9,500 per tola, while on Friday it fell further by Rs 4,200 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is now trading at Rs 2,91,000 per tola. On Thursday, the price had been Rs 2,95,200 per tola.

Silver prices also declined, falling Rs 270 per tola to reach Rs 4,710. On Thursday, silver had traded at Rs 4,980 per tola, the association added.
