KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) lawmaker Prabhu Shah has registered a proposal of public importance at the Secretariat of the Federal Parliament today, demanding Special Economic Package for Province 2 as a means of ensuring justice mainstreaming the otherwise ‘marginalized’ region.

NCP lawmaker Prabhu Shah, who is also proposed lead NCP as party Chair of Province 2, registered the proposal with NCP lawmaker Amaresh Kumar Singh, RJP lawmaker Laxman Lal Karna and Samajbadi Party MP Uma Shanker Argariya as the supporter of the proposal.

The proposal has cited the disparity, inequality, economic backwardness, illiteracy as the indicator which shows the primitiveness of the area making it urgent for the state to address the issue.
