KATHMANDU: Amidst severe criticism against the government for its ‘slackness’ in rescuing corona-panicked Nepali nationals in China, Nepal’s Embassy in Beijing has asked Nepalis there to stay prepared for rescue.

According to the Embassy sources, the Embassy has sought permission for Saturday’s flight to Hubei.

Nearly 200 Nepalis in Hubei, who have applied for their return to Nepal, shall be airlifted to Nepal on Saturday once Nepal gets permission from Chinese civil aviation authority.

Sushil Lamsal, the Deputy Chief of Mission in Embassy of Nepal, China has informed all Nepalis in Hubei via WeChat message on Wednesday.
