NC alleges govt of institutionalizing corruption

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has alleged the government of emboldening and institutionalizing corruption in the country.

NC lawmaker Dila Sangraula came down heavily on the government for failing to control corruption despite its ‘zero-tolerance’ policy.

Speaking during today’s session of the House of Representatives (HoR), NC lawmaker Dila Sangraula said it is a shame that the government is hell-bent on shielding the Yeti Group by providing land of the Nepal Trust.

“The Yeti Group has currently created terror in the country,” she said, adding, “The government has given 2 thousand 799 ropani land of the Nepal Trust to Yeto Group.”

Lawmaker Sangraula sought clarification from the government in this regard.
