Police open fire in Jorpati



KATHMANDU: Police have opened fire in Kathmandu’s Jorpati and arrested Bishnu Lama, who was in the wanted list of Nepal Police for his alleged involvement in a murder.

Lama has sustained bullet injuries on his leg.

Police opened fire at Lama after the latter tried to flee the scene at Jambudanda in Jorpati. Lama has been charged with injuring students of Medical College last year. He was absconding since then.

He has been rushed to Bir Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
