NC ineffective in role as main opposition: RPP Chair Thapa



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Kamal Thapa has urged its leaders and cadres to work with the country, people and democracy at the center.

In a virtual meeting with leaders and cadres on Saturday, he stressed on the need for the representatives of the organization to be vigilant in serving the people in the current situation where political activities could not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During the discussion on the impact of the pandemic and the growing crisis, recent political developments, party unity and plans, he urged the leaders and cadres to work for making RPP a robust alternative force in the country.

Demanding the government to provide relief and assistance to the economically deprived people, he stressed on the need for RPP to play an intervening role in the coming days saying that the Nepali Congress seems to be ineffective in the position as the main opposition.
