Two sides clash in Janakpur, scores injured



JANAKPUR: A clash erupted between two sides in Janakpurdham over the issue of posting photos on Facebook.

At least a dozen people have been injured in a clash at Janakpurdham-20 on Saturday. Police fired seven rounds of tear gas during the scuffle.

According to police, the clash ensued over the posting photos of ‘Daha’ made for celebrating Muharram festival.

Police said that the situation was now under control and discussions were underway between the sides to resolve the dispute.
